Our lawn was TOTALLY overrun with Wild Violet and Bermuda Grass. We hired Lawn Doctor who came out and personally accessed the grass and gave us multiple options. We decided to use their power seeding and start over with a new lawn. Within the first seven days we started to see new grass and within two weeks our lawn was STUNNING! Not joking - we have SOOO many people stopping by our house (people we don't even know) asking about our lawn and saying how beautiful it is (one person told us they even stopped and felt it because they could not believe it was real grass!) For a few years up to 2018, I was sure we had the worst lawn in town - many weeds and little grass. For the 2019 season I decided to give Lawn Doctor a try. The Lawn Doctor tech guys always came on schedule and the people in the office were always helpful and responsive. During that first summer, I wasn't really sure how much it was all helping. Nearing the end of the season, I signed up for the aeration and overseeding, and followed all the directions for mowing and watering the new seed as carefully as I could. There was some evidence of new grass in the bare spots, but I was still uncertain about the success of that first year of service. Now in Spring 2020 the lawn is gorgeous! The grass is lush! The weeds are gone! Most of the very shaded bare spots are filling in. I am sincerely delighted with the appearance of my lawn now. ~ Phillip M

Our experience with Lawn Doctor has been 100% positive. Owners Jeremy and Jessica are incredibly personable, accommodating and accessible. We had always thought that hiring a lawn service company was cost prohibitive but with a flexible pay schedule and a clear, explanatory break down of pricing, we have been able to transform our (mostly weeds) yard over the past two years to a beautiful lawn without feeling a big pinch to our budget. When we have a question or see a problem spot, Jeremy contacts us quickly and usually follows up with a visit to ensure everything is being taken care of. I switched to Lawn Doctors after TruGreen became too expensive and TruGreen products were becoming ineffective on my lawn. With Lawn Doctor, my lawn is bright green and healthy looking. The only complaint I have is I found some active dandelions in my yard near the street after a couple of treatments which makes me question how effective their product is for that particular weed. I also asked if they had a separate yard spray for fleas and ticks and was told no, just for mosquitos which is not what I want, considering I have cats that go outside. Overall, I am pleased and happy with the way my yard works, and the person who cuts my grass always remarks about the fullness of the yard. ~ Jo T

This is my second year with Lawn Doctor and they have exceeded all of our expectations. They treat my lawn individually by formulating the fertilization and weed prevention program for my lawn not for just the St.Louis market. Lawn Doctor and is the only one that controls the Nutsedge and all of the other challenging weeds we have in St. Louis. What I really like about them is you don't have to chase after them to show up in the spring to start your lawn or the fall for aeration and over seeding. It is the little things they do like call you to make sure you are satisfied. Every early spring my phone rings, mailers are sent to me and flyers left at my door by other lawn care companies that quote me lower prices. I have used some of them over the past 20 years and as they say, you get what you pay for. Now my call in the spring is to review my next year lawn care program for my lawn. ~ Richard F

I had multiple different types of grasses and tons of weeds throughout my yard. Jeremy came over and established a plan to "control" all of the weeds and grasses (except the fescue) and to plant new fescue seeds throughout. His staff executed the plan with different applications with careful consideration to timing/seasons/weather. It's been 3 weeks since they aerated/seeded and my yard looks better than it ever has. It's lush, consistent, and green. Jeremy has a plan moving forward to make sure it stays that way. Couldn't be happier. ~ Ryan S

We have ALWAYS had a very patchy lawn that most of the greenery was weeds. I have spent a fortune on grass seed every season. We have aerated and fertilized, and we have had very healthy weeds! We finally decided to try a company and our neighbor used Lawn Doctor, and their lawn looks good! They came out and evaluated our soil, shade, usage and such. They made recommendations and off we went. I have not had to worry at all this last season. They came as scheduled. Left information and emailed information about each visit. This included what they did, recommendations for what we should do, a watering schedule recommendation and informed us of other services we might be interested in (NEVER a hard sell, just what was available). WE LOVE OUR LAWN! In one season Lawn Doctor has made our lawn something to be proud of! We so appreciate all that they have done to increase our property value, the health of our lawn, the look of our lawn, and the information provided (I have learned A LOT!) I have had trouble spots with my lawn since I moved to this house 8 years ago. I had Bermuda grass taking over the front yard. I had been using another lawn company and the patches of Bermuda grass continued to grow until it was covering almost half of my yard. I had been told that there was nothing that cold be done about it because it always comes back. This past year I hired Lawn Doctor. Kim and Jeremy had a plan to fix my yard. With their expertise, they were able to kill the Bermuda grass (scary for about a month) and now I have a beautiful full lawn of green lush grass, no more of the scraggily patches of Bermuda! I am thrilled with it because it looks great! I have had neighbors stop and ask about it. But the biggest compliment, I think, was when a local landscaper asked who fixed my lawn. He said he was really impressed with the transformation. Lawn Doctor went above and beyond with telling me what to expect and answering all of my questions. Their service is fantastic. The Lawn Doctor completely revitalized my yard! I had used another lawn fertilizer company for several years and unfortunately, my lawn went from bad to really bad. So I decided to find another company. The Lawn Doctor to the rescue.....my yard has never looked so good. They analyzed the soil and used organic fertilizer specific to my lawn. I've had them treat my lawn for several years now, and haven't had any complaints. No missed applications, no chemically burned lawn, no problems at all. They do what they promise. Note: in our area, 'Nut Sedge' is a huge problem (to me). It grows fast, it grows much taller than my fescue, spreads rapidly, and it is a yellowish green which ruins the appearance of a lawn. Lawn Doctor applications have eliminated 'Nut Sedge' from my lawn. 5 Stars ~ Ted M

Have used Lawn Doctor the last 2 years and definitely seeing improvements. I know you cant fix a lawn overnight, and it is definitely shaping up to be better. I thought i could handle it myself, and i realize my limitations. Once i priced what it would take for me to go get the stuff, apply it myself doing all the work across all the different things you need to do that LawnDoctor does it became a no brainer. We live in St. Charles and we have used Lawn Doctor for a few years now and our lawn looks incredible. We back up to a common area and in the past the weeds from the common area spread into our yard and were a nightmare to try and control by ourselves. I love the fact that they use organic fertilizers and have an extremely knowledgable staff. My lawn has had only three treatments so far from Lawn Doctor and I already see a big improvement. It takes awhile to get rid of some types of weeds, so gradual improvement is what I hope for. The technician does a good job and I like getting the "report card" of what they observe each time about the condition of my lawn. ~ Peg N

I was in my lawn this week, to do some spot-treatment. There was, basically, nothing for me to do. Lawn Doctor is producing results that TruGreen never could. I use them for lawn chems and for bug control. If I send a request for service, there is a Lawn Doctor guy in my yard the next day. Their service has been fantastic. Jeremey at Lawn Doctor has been servicing my lawn for 4 years at this home and 3 years at my previous home. Their service has been wonderful. My lawn is the prettiest on the block.
